All our analysts are educated to at least graduate level (over half to postgraduate level) in a science or engineering discipline, and have been trained to have a thorough understanding of searching techniques and patent language. Many of our searchers are capable in non-English languages including French, German and Spanish. Their searching expertise covers every major subject area and technology, such as:

Victor Green has worked in the field of patent and technical information for over 30 years. The range of technical information work he has carried out and supervised over the years has covered every branch of technology. His extensive experience in online searching began in 1977. He has degrees in Applied Mathematics & Physics (University of Cape Town) and Philosophy & Psychology (Birkbeck College, London) and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals

David Clarke joined the company in 1989 after reading Physics at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London, and is a very skilled, wide-ranging and experienced information analyst. In addition to his role as a director in management and supervision, he has special responsibility for the computer systems and telecommunications which play a vital part in current searching practice.

Sonia D'Souza joined Victor Green & Company in 1996. She has a B.Sc. Honours degree in Biochemistry from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, and an M.Sc. in Immunology from University College, London. She plays a significant role in our work in biotechnology and has extensive experience of searching pharmaceuticals.

Milan Bhattacharyya is a Chemistry graduate from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. He joined Victor Green & Company in 1998 and as a Principal Patent Analyst leads our work in chemical structure searching as part of a wide-ranging chemistry brief.

Ruth Denbigh was recruited in November 2003 to strengthen our general and mechanical search capability. She completed a B.Eng. Hons. in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering at Cranfield University in July 2002, and is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Davinia Collyer joined us in October 2004 having obtained a B.Sc. Honours in Biomedical Materials Science at the University of Manchester and whilst completing a Ph.D at Cranfield University on sonochemically formed microarrays for a disposable, electrochemical chlorine sensor. As a Principal Patent Analyst she leads our biochemical and biosequence search capability and her experience is particularly relevant to the increasing flow of work on biomedical devices.

Joanne Kirkwood joined the company in July 2006 after obtaining a M.Sci in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, where her final year project researched the formation and reactivity of molecular ions using spectroscopy. Her work is concentrated in the chemical area, but she turns her hand to a wide range of subjects.

John Smith has a B.Sc in Chemistry from the University of Exeter and is a very experienced searcher having worked for British Oxygen, British Gas, Edgeworth King and RWS Information before joining Victor Green & Company in January 2008.

Sunil Sudhakaran is our latest recruit, in September 2008. After obtaining B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Physics and Electronics at the Mahatma Gandhi University and Cochin University of Science & Technology in India, he obtained a Ph.D on left-handed metamaterials at Queen Mary, University of London in 2006. He has worked on many projects including antennas, photonic bandgap materials, and miniaturised cold cathode fluorescent lamps for displays.
